Our most popular bases are 28” or 29” tall because they are the height of the typical dining table. However, some customers want a little more. Maybe they are taller people, or they have taller chairs. Or maybe they want to make a statement. Whatever their reason, we have the perfect base for them, our 34” Cast Iron Counter Height Base, which comes in rustic black, rustic red, and black.

34” Table Base Features

This 34” base has a classic hourglass shape, whose curvy frame goes well with square, rectangle, round, and oval tops. It is made of 100% cast iron, which adds an industrial feel to a variety of tabletop materials, and is incredibly sturdy. It can hold everything from concrete to wood.

When you order the base by itself, you will receive just the two legs. You can add a HUGE, SOLID 1.5” diameter center bar up to 84” for an extra $200. This cost includes the bar, hardware, and additional shipping costs. Mounting hardware for a wood top is an additional $10.

This base proudly displays the embossment, “JCS CASTING CO., CINCINNATI, OH,” which is the name of our company and location.

The 34” height creates a wonderful counter, but we have had clients use this base for other applications such as high tables and kitchen islands. Wheels are an option if you want the table to be easy to move.
