We needed a base to go with a custom walnut table top. There were plenty of bases out there, but we decided to splurge a little because we liked this one so much. I'm so happy we did! It is heavy, well made, and absolutely perfect. When the woodworkers came to deliver the table top they were truly impressed by the base and said it was one if the nicest they'd ever seen. Customer service was great and shipping was quick. Very happy with this purchase.
